 RULES & REGULATIONSGeneral rules of the site.
-R-E-S-P-E-C-T! Please respect your fellow members and staff members; don't be an arse by trying to start unnecessary fights, and if you're discussing a touchy topic with another player that might offend others, please discuss it through pms. So, in general, respect each other's feelings and try to be nice and considerate.
- Even though I hate labeling a site’s “literacy level,” this site is more on the intermediate side; all that is required is two decently sized paragraphs, but more is always encouraged. =] Feel free to write as much as your heart desires. I’m placing no restrictions on your creativity, although I don’t want anyone writing as little as a couple of sentences. So, that being said, that’s obviously the reason why there’s a minimum here on Pavotworth.
-You probably could’ve already guessed this, but absolutely no godmodding or powerplaying! Rping isn’t too fun when you’ve got the other person dodging everything you throw at them or having the ability to read your every thought and feeling. If you do happen to do this, you’ll simply be messaged and told so; you won’t get in any type of serious trouble unless it starts to develop into a habit.
-Good grammar is REQUIRED. I am a believer of quality over quantity when it comes to posting amount, but unfortunately, my thoughts can’t be wavered when it comes to grammar. I understand that everyone makes spelling mistakes here and there, but doing it in every sentence and not even knowing the basic rules of grammar is unacceptable. Sorry. D;
-You can have up to four characters. Pretty self explanatory. ;P
-NO mary sues! If I see that you’ve made one, I’ll calmly explain to you that he/she’s a bit too perfect; you’ll then have a chance to fix the application, and if you don’t redeem yourself through RPing, you sadly need to trash the character.
-Since we all love even gender ratios, two out of your four characters must be males. Also, only two out of your four characters can be a canon; if you decide to play a canon, you must be very active. The same rules of activity apply to those playing canon characters, so if you happen to be inactive for a bit, your canon will be up for grabs again, meaning that even if you join back again, you won't be able to get your canon character back if they've already been taken by another person
-This site is rated R to an extent; although cursing is allowed, I don’t want to see it in every other sentence. You must also fade to black when it comes to sex; however, you are allowed to do anything else as long as it’s not to the point where it’s disturbing to read.
-When it comes to activity, I can relate to the fact that sometimes, it’s hard to keep it up. So, if you happen to know that you won’t be active for a bit, such as if you’re going somewhere, are busy, or just need a break, please post it in the going away board. If you fail to do so and are gone for a total of 2 weeks, all of your accounts will be deleted.
-Signatures must not exceed the size of 500x300. Avatars, on the other hand, can be up to 100x100.
-Please note that not all students can be members of the clubhouses; your character may very well receive a /harsh/ rejection from the club committees if their personality and overall self don't meet the standards that they're looking for.
